I have a weakness for pear shaped pieces, so this beauty leapt out at me immediately. The central stone is very dark blue, almost black and approx 9mm x 7mm. It is surrounded by eleven smaller matching sapphires, making an overall size of 15mm x 13mm. This is a well made, substantial item.
There is a full hallmark dating to 1993. The weight is 4.31g.
