This charming simple design showcases an oval synthetic spinel of 10mm by 8mm within four double claws. Made by Wilson & Gill, the ring has been resized at some point, so has lost some of the hallmark, but what is still present dates pre 1975. Synthetic or lab grown stones have the exact characteristics of earth mined stones, but without the ethical or ecological drawbacks of a natural stone.
The weight is 1.75g.
