This fabulous ring is specifically designed to be multi layer in the same way as a tutu, hence the term ballerina. This complicated style is not something you come across everyday and this fine example showcases 13 dark blue sapphires. The central marquise or navette stone is 6mm by 3mm. This has 12 further stones encircling it and making an overall size of 14mm by 12mm. There is a maker or sponsors mark of JP and this has been assayed as 9ct gold by the London assay office in 1986.
The weight is 2.85g.
