This Albert Bar is magnificent. The bar is six sided, with four being patterned gold which capture the light and draw attention. The other two each hold twelve paste stones, which gives an incredible sparkle to the piece and make it really rather special. T bars or Albert bars are named after Queen Victorias husband, Prince Albert, who liked to wear these and made them very popular in his time. The bar is 38mm in length and 5mm wide. There is no hallmark visible now on the main bar, but i suspect there was originally one at the end which has now worn off.
The weight is 4.62g.
