This secret ring is quite literally two faced. One side has an enamelled square and compass design which can be can be flipped over so it appears plain. The cartouche is 11mm by 9mm with the overall setting being 14mm at the widest point. The shank bears the sponsor or makers mark of FM for Fred Manshaw and the hallmark indicates 9ct gold, having been assayed in London in 1989.
