I confess to being very drawn to Hematite. Did you know it is reputed to be a protection stone, absorbing negative energy and calming stress? I’m happy to go along with that as a bonus, but I just like its metallic sheen! The oval faceted stone is 9mm by 5mm, with an outer rope edge setting being 12mm by 9mm overall. The makers mark is S and Co. having been hallmarked as 9ct Gold in Birmingham but without a specific date mark in this instance.
The weight is 3.11g.
Please note there is a 1mm chip to the side of the stone close to the setting, which is very hard to see unless with a loupe. The price has been adjusted to reflect this imperfection.
