There is something very attractive about hematite, I think it is the metallic sheen that I am drawn to, so it is one I always watch out for. Hematite is also reputed to be a powerful protection stone which absorbs negative energy and calms stress or worry, so as far as I am concerned this is a win win situation! In this case the simple plain gold signet ring holds a 12mm x 10mm centurion intaglio design which is always very popular. This style could equally be worn by a lady or a gent. The ring is 15mm at the widest point and bears a maker or sponsors mark of BS. There is a full hallmark indicating 9ct gold, having been assayed in London in 1977.
