Blue John is a stone that is only found in Derbyshire, England, so it is quite an unusual item ourltside this local area. Unfortunately rather than being a solid stone this particular one is a doublet. This means a sliver of the genuine stone has been glued to a different material and as such this item is heavily reduced to a clearance price of just £50.00. This stone is 12mm x 10mm and is set simply into a bezel style 9ct gold shank with split shoulders. There is a full UK hallmark dating to 1990.
The size is a UK M 1/2 or a US 6 3/4, weight is 3.06g.
