This lovely vintage birdcage takes me back to my parents house as a small child as we had budgies. The cage has a small bird inside sat on a perch. The base is 11mm in diameter and the overall height is 18mm. The base also has the makers mark of HG & S for the well regarded Henry Griffiths and Son, alongside a full hallmark, having been assayed as 9ct gold in Birmingham in 1963.
I have added a split ring to this to enable easy addition to a chain, the total weight is 2.45g.
